Article 1 — Winner’s Counterpart

Acceptance of the prize constitutes the winner’s commitment to take part in a video testimonial, produced and filmed by Nexus Carib at the winner’s home, within thirty to forty-five days following the installation. The filming does not exceed one hour on site.

The winner authorizes Nexus Carib to capture, reproduce and broadcast their image and voice on its communication media, websites, social networks and commercial presentations, including to its supplier partners, for a period of three years from the date of filming, worldwide.

The winner may request that their exact address and the exterior of their home not be identifiable in the final edit. This request is granted as of right and does not affect the award of the prize.

A separate image-rights release is signed on the day of the installation, incorporating the terms of this article.

Refusal of the video counterpart results in forfeiture of the prize, which is then awarded to the next-ranked participant.

Article 2 — Organizer

Nexus Carib, Marigot, Saint-Martin, operator of the nice-carib.com website.

Article 3 — Duration

The contest runs from Thursday, August 20, 2026 through Sunday, August 30, 2026 inclusive. Entries close on Sunday, August 31, 2026 at midnight, Saint-Martin time. Any message received after this time will not be counted.

Article 4 — Conditions of participation

The contest is open to any natural person of legal age. The home in which the prize is to be installed must be located on the island of Saint-Martin, on either the French or the Dutch side. No installation is carried out outside this area.

Only one entry per person and per telephone number. Employees of Nexus Carib and their immediate family are excluded.

Article 5 — Mechanics

Entering requires completing a three-step path on nice-carib.com and sending a WhatsApp message to the organizer’s number. Only messages containing the exact expected word and a number in answer to the final question are valid.

Article 6 — Designation of the winner

The winner is the participant whose number is closest to the total number of valid WhatsApp messages received before closing. In the event of a tie between several participants, the winner is the one whose message was received first, the WhatsApp application timestamp being the sole authority.

Article 7 — Invalid messages

The following are not counted: incomplete messages, messages without a number, duplicates from the same number, and messages received after closing. Only the first message from a given number is retained.

Article 8 — Prize

A Yubii Home system comprising a Yubii Home gateway, a lighting control module, a Shutter Control module for roller shutters and an air-conditioning control module, as well as a connected Echo Dot speaker. Installation, programming and training included, over one day.

The modules are installed on existing equipment. The Shutter Control module requires a roller shutter that is already electrically motorized. The air-conditioning module requires a compatible unit to be in place. No roller shutter, motor, air conditioner or light fixture is included in the prize.

The prize is subject to a prior technical site visit. If the configuration of the home does not allow a module to be installed, it will be replaced by a module of equivalent value, in particular a second lighting control module.

The installation is conditional upon verification of the site’s voltage. The prize is neither transferable nor exchangeable for its cash value.

When the winner is not the owner of the home, the installation is subject to the written consent of the owner. Failing production of this consent within fifteen days of the winner being designated, the prize is awarded to the next-ranked participant.

Total value of the prize: €1,040 including tax, installation included.

Article 9 — Technical installation constraints

The system modules are compatible with 110 to 230 volts, 50 or 60 hertz, and therefore work across all the territories concerned.

Installing the lighting module requires the presence of an earth wire at the installation point. This configuration is not systematic in existing installations. In its absence, the module is replaced by a module of equivalent value that can be installed in the home.

These constraints are verified during the prior technical site visit.

Article 10 — Announcement

The winner is announced live on the Nice Carib Facebook page within forty-eight hours of closing. The total number of valid entries is presented publicly on that occasion.

Article 11 — Personal data

The data collected is used by Nexus Carib for the purpose of managing the contest and commercial communication. Each participant has the right to access, rectify and delete their data.

Article 12 — Independence from Meta

This contest is neither organized, sponsored nor administered by Facebook or Meta. No action on the Facebook page is required to participate.
